JUST SHARING SOME KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE TOURIST SPOTS. LET ME START FROM MARINA BEACH

     When we think about Chennai, the first place comes to our mind is MARINA BEACH. 

*Longest beach in India, second longest in the World 

*Many food stalls, Entertainment areas are there. 

*Street food shops provide  kulfi, ice creams potato chips, cooked ground nuts etc. 

*Variety of street foods are available. 

All time, it is crowded. 

*It is also known as Chennai Beach. 

*Chennai corporation is taking care of the beach. 

* It is safe at night also. Police Force will be there during night time. 

*Bathing and swimming is not allowed there. 

*It is located  between ST. GEORGE FORT  AND BESANT NAGAR. 

FAMOUS LANDMARKS:

Light house 

Anna, MGR, Jaya lalitha karuna nidhi Memorial,Chepak cricket stadium chennai Harbour, 

Vivekananda Illam. 

Chennai City Center. 

Parking :

For two wheelers, it is free. 

For cars, pay and park facility. 

Transportation :

CHENNAI CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION, take the subway to Park Railway station. From there took local train towards Beach Station 

Meenambakkam Airport, took local train to park station then same route which mentioned above. 

From koyembedu bus stand, took chennai corporation bus towards Paris. 

Own vehicle :Enter towards North Beach Road. 

HISTORY :Recently pro-jallikettu protest took place there in 2017.
