 Second Tourist Spot is BESANT NAGAR BEACH. (Edward Elliot 's Beach). 

1. It is the second famous beach in Chennai. 
2. Edward Elliot' s Beach is known as Besant Nagar Beach. 
3. It is a clean and classy beach when compared to Marina Beach. 
4. It is less crowded when compared to Marina Beach. 
5. The distance between parking area and beach shore is less. 
6. It has many food stalls, entertainment areas etc. 
7. We need to pay and park our vehicles there. 
8. It is a safe place to roam around with family. 
9. Sea food varieties are available. 
10. Street foods, ice creams, corns, cooked ground nuts etc are available.
11. Lot of hotels are nearby this beach.

TRANSPORTATION 

• From Chennai Airport, it is about 15 km. Better to take a taxi 
• Trisulam is the nearest Railway station to the airport 
• Take train from Trisulam station to Chennai Fort. 
• Walk towards Secretariat bus stand 
• Take bus to Besant Nagar. 

THIRUVANMIYUR BEACH 

• It is a small beach compared to the other two. 
• It is very less crowded. 
• Better place to go for morning walks. 
• No parking charge is there 
• We can park in front side of the beach 
• Some food stalls are there.
• High- fi  bungalows are there.
