DAKSHIN CHITRA
Dakshin means SOUTH and Chitra means
PICTURE.
As the name says , it is actually a compilation of South India's culture and traditions in a single area.
It consists of the houses of Tamil nadu, Andhra pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala.
Also it has Research Area, Crafts Area, Playground etc.
Payments can be done by using cash and cards.
We have to keep that ticket with us during the visit.
Some stalls are there to buy food items.
Puppet shows will be there. It costs 250rs.

For Foreigners, 250 Rs. per head.
For foreigner students, 70Rs.per head
For Children, 30 Rs. Per head (5-12years)
For Students, 50Rs.per head (13-19 years) For Indians, Rs. 100
(festival time Rs. 120per head)

Video camera 200rs.
School students package 150rs.
Many photo shoots took place there including marriage outdoor shoots.
Timings
10am to 6pm.(Tuesday holiday)
Four South Indian states models of houses, their craft works etc can be seen there. It is actually worth visiting there.
